Systems Engineer

 Position Summary:

KenCast is looking for experienced Systems Engineers to join our growing team of world class engineers and developers.  As a Systems Engineer you will be working on a wide array of tasks ranging from researching and validating new technologies, presenting KenCast solutions to customers worldwide, as well as providing level II/III support to our enterprise customers.  To thrive at this position you should possess strong communications, multitasking and planning skills as the job includes problem solving and communicating with clients.

 Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide level II/III support to our enterprise customers onsite and remotely
  • Implement and design KenCast solutions within customer network
  • Be an active part of network & product design
  • Create and maintain detailed infrastructure documentation
  • Research new tools and technologies
  • Implement and operate secure infrastructure for critical applications
  • Act as project manager in areas of expertise
  • Some travel required to customer site for pre- and post sales support

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Systems Engineering or similar role
  • M.S. or B.S degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Proven ability to succeed in a dynamic team-oriented environment
  • Experience with Windows/Linux/Android operating systems
  • Experience with TCP/IP and common network protocols
  • Experience with virtualization environments
  • Proficiency in a scripting language like Bash or Python


  • Proficiency in Spanish or other languages a plus

We are looking for a talented Technical Support Engineer to provide enterprise level technical support to our customers via phone, email, and on-site visits. Strong communications, multitasking and planning skills are also required, as the job includes problem solving and communicating with our prestigious roster of clients.   • Take ownership of reported customer issues and see problems through to resolution
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues
  • Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
  • Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues
  • Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles
  • Research new tools and technologies

Basic Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or similar
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge of networking concepts
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication skills


  • Proficiency in Spanish a strong plus
  • Knowledge of a scripting language

  • Build & direct the sales/reseller team and monitor their performance against assigned business goals.
  • Direct the development and closure of new business opportunities end-to-end from lead generation for new prospects and nurturing of existing customers, to completion of sales.
  • Manage relationships with existing and prospective clients, engaging the new clients, developing proposals and contracts, negotiating terms and closing deals.
  • Lead all efforts to create, grow and maintain key customer relationships.
  • Create and manage overall sales plan, programs & budgets which support sales objectives.
  • Displays industry knowledge, professionalism and enthusiasm in all internal and external efforts.
  • Travel is required as over 2,000 of our installations are found worldwide.


  • Must have a strong ability to sense the probability of whether deals will close, and what it will take for him/her to close a deal
  • Experience working closely with buyers
  • Can rapidly do the job of moving a buyer thru the funnel from initial lead, to prospect, to customer/sale
  • Willing to travel and meet with prospects to gauge for themselves whether or not a deal is really a deal
  • Should be a strong oral communicator, exceptional people-person, and motivator
  • Skillful at getting known as soon as possible – network in the industry, speak at trade shows, and participate on panels
  • Ability to establish a highly visible profile to customers, industry leaders, partners, competitors and the media within the industry
  • Skilled at forecasting near-term revenues consistent with agreed upon:
    • Number of salespeople he/she can hire
    • The size of the marketing budget
    • The size of the travel budget
    • The budget for cost of sales
  • Can write job descriptions, interview and recruit sales people
  • Can build a recruitment process to screen and bring on board new sales team members
  • Has a track record recruiting and leading a strong successful sales team
  • Can build an appropriate sales tracking process with performance metrics management
  • Experience formulating a Sales Compensation Plan to reinforce the sales tracking process
  • Ability to nurture, appreciate top performers and guide, teach underperformers
  • Ability to productively integrate into the senior management Team
  • Technical college degree(s) and MBA a plus
